This week's show featured a number of longer compositions where artists explored the longer temporal landscape to great effect. From trumpeter, Wadada Leo Smith's homage to "Yosemite," to pianist, Fred Hersch exploring "Through the Forest," several artists featured this week used time as a means to expand and deepen their musical statement.
