"Are We Still Rolling?"

Absolutely! This week's show title, Are We Still Rolling? is taken from a current read of mine, the excellent autobiography/diary by Phill Brown, recording engineer on many a classic album including the last two Talk Talk albums (a frequent music rabbit hole that I continue to traverse). Over the weekend, I posted some choice passages from Brown's chapters dedicated to working on Talk Talk's Spirit of Eden and Laughing Stock. Read it at your leisure. His recounting is very illuminating, if you find post-rock, behind-the-scenes, details of interest.

Musically, this week, new releases by Raoul Bjorkenheim's eCsTaSy, SONAR, the Dave Douglas Quintet, and New York Electric Piano, and much more will be shared. Lend an open ear and listen live on Tuesday at 9AM, if you can. As always, if you missed the live Alloy show this week you can always catch the all-music, 24/7 “Alloy” station.

Thanks for listening!
