Everybody Digs Bill Evans and Live at the Village Vanguard were the two albums that cemented my lasting appreciation of pianist Bill Evans (featured in the photo above). This week's show will feature tracks from both of these important works. I also discovered, after the fact, that the anniversary of Charles Mingus' passing was on January 5th.
